Can anyone join AYF?
Not anyone can join the group. One has to be a committed Christian with a desire to "reach out", because we are a musical group - we need talented musicians, someone with integrity and the person must believe in God in three persons; God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit among others requirements.
Is AYF still relevant to the young people?
Yes it is. The message of salvation is simple- "we need to be saved to inherit the kingdom of God". Sometimes we feel challenged that the way we present it may not be appealing to the young people, something we try to address, notwithstanding , we have emphasized amongst ourselves what our mission is- *" to share the salvation message"* and let God do the rest.
What has kept AYF going on until today?
We are a family. We are a fellowship. Prayer. Focusing on Christ and what God desires us to do has kept us going. We have been close and scattered but at the end of the day- an AYF member has stayed an AYF member. Additionally the ministry calling has kept us going, in the low moments we have been reminded not our calling/task- this then becomes the wake up call for us to get back. There has been respect and trust amongst the members. Once in a while we have confronted issues.
